‘Come to bed’ at The Savoy
On 23rd February, Bruce Russell and his great friend – Creative Director of The Event’s Mill – Christopher Mills – invited 60 of London’s top wedding and party planners to ‘Come to Bed’ at The Savoy.
Wrapped in bath robes and ready for bed, guests were immersed into an unforgettable theatrical experience, traversing through moments of sunset, twilight, midnight and dawn – accompanied by a draft, a drink and a bite to eat!
Showcasing The Savoy as the place to be for any wedding or occasion, the evening proved to be a quirky and unusual showcase of the very best in design – be it the Bluebellgray, Missoni Home, Designers Guild and Zoeppritz homewares from Amara, the appropriately styled florals from Savoy Flowers or the exquisite counting sheep cake from Tuck-Box cakes.
With a chambermaid turn-down service, acrobats, dancers and professional sleepers from Civilised Mess, and a constant stream of delicious twilight treats by The Savoy’s talented culinary team, there was certainly no one heading home early to go to bed!
